Stanley KC’s design team extracted representative details from buildings of the Bauhaus period, integrating design elements of old Hong Kong with modern aesthetics throughout The Praya to construct a narrative that’s understated, linear and filled with contrasts. The resulting space awakens an abstract familiarity, one that evokes the old era, while celebrating all that is new. From undulating interior lines, rounded corners to the mixture of iconic architectural materials such as marble mosaic and terrazzo and custom designed furniture, the final result reflects the spirit of the period to highlight the spectacular Neo-Chinese cuisine of the restaurant.
