Insights from an accomplished interior designer
Stanley Kwok, founder of Stanley KC and his team always adhere to their mission of designing for people and the user, rather than creating to achieve a wow factor. See Stanley’s sharing here:
"Too many designs nowadays are made just for posting on social media, created to achieve an eye-catching photo rather than considerations such as practicality and function and focusing on the user experience. Clients are also unable to judge the real quality of a design until they visit the site and experience it in person. In today's world that’s dominated by social media, many people only create for the visual stimulation brought about by the so-called "instagrammable" photo and neglect the real role of designers. Designers should create for people rather than that perfect image, so I often remind the design team to always put people first.”
